From 3rd to 5th of July all 7 partners of YouStandOut met in Nicosia, Cyprus for three
days of training on youth engagement, as well as to path the ways for the final
months and activities of YouStandOut. How will rural youth be part of a fresh digital
marketing of rural areas?
First we went back in time, looking again at the key findings from our research. You
can find a summary of the topics and key questions raised in our
Executive Research Summary.
On the second day, partners worked mostly on the preparation of the upcoming
IdeationLabs, as well as outlining the tasks of WP4, that is, the policy
recommendations.
On the final day of our LTTA, we had the chance to meet up with Constantinos from
Youth Makerspace Larnaka, a local organisation around youth work and education.
Constantinos, together with Iron Man, introduced us to their many activities as well as
their super well-equipped facilities and labs – from 3D printers to a smart garden
area. Very cool, very inspiring!
